My Foursquare World Tour Dates

For me, Foursquare is really a game where I need to keep up to date with the everchanging rules and points system to unlock a maximum of badges. 11th East Coast Virtual Trip

I unlocked another 10 badges on this trip between August and October 2011 in New York, Edison NJ, Pittsburg PA and Montreal Qc. Foursquare is releasing less and less badges and making some of those that are released much tougher to get. Moreover they’ve made check-in rules a little tougher on virtual displacements. You use to be able to check into 2 different cities within the same hour if you were in the same time zone, but now they seem to take into account average travel time between locations. 10th East Coast Virtual Trip

These are the ongoing Foursquare virtual voyages of Sam. With the recent change in Foursquare’s point system and having changed jobs a few months back (now with many players in the office) my interest to check-in has been renewed. I was finally able to use a Foursquare check-in special at the Hard Rock Cafe in Washington DC and in Baltimore. In Washington I obtained a collector’s 40th anniversary shooter glass and in Baltimore I obtained an All Access VIP member card for a friend (I already have one since 2005). Continue reading
