I returned with my family and some friends last December 29th, 2011, on a whim. We didn’t have anything else planned that day where family Christmas and new year,s events were concerned and really felt like eating at the Hard Rock Cafe (it’s not just me). Ottawa is only 2½ hours away from my house in Montreal so we made a day of it. We meant to walk the city a little and visit some of the sites, but it was the frigid -30 degrees Celsius that pretty much stopped us in our tracks.
