I visited the Hard Rock Cafe Punta Cana with my family and a new friend in January 2011 during a trip to the Dominican Republic with a group of 25 friends (13 kids) – at the Barcello Premium (which I strongly recommend in Punta Cana (or Punta Canada for those that have been there and can see the truth of it).

When we travel down south, we always do a few excursions to see the country and its history. This time around though, the Hard Rock Cafe Punta Cana was unavoidable.

My sister brought me back t-shirts from the Punta Cana and Santo Domingo HRC in the past, but they never seemed authentic to me. I have several fake HRC t-shirts, either the shirts are fake or the HRC doesn’t exist or is not affiliated with the international brand. We could buy HRC Dominican Republic and Punta Canada t-shirts and ball caps at the resort – in which case those received prior to my real visit were probably fake.

Our excursion didn’t only include the Hard Rock Cafe Punta Cana. We also made a pit stop at the brand Hard Rock Hotel &Casino (Moon Palace Resort) which was right next to our resort (20 minutes along the beach) whereas the Café is in town (20 minutes by cab). That however is subject of another post in 3 weeks.
