updated January 21, 2010
I present to you at this year’s end, the many predictions made in 2009 for 2010 and published everywhere across the Web. You’ll find plenty of eMarketer graphs & comments +tons of links to several other predictions about the coming year. These predictions cover marketing priorities, tactics, advertising spend, gaming consoles, mobile marketing, daily newspapers, electronic products, local marketing, Internet penetration in Canada, etc …
Here are the marketing priorities for 2010:
- Acquiring new customers
- Retention / engagement with customers already acquired
- Personally (and here I’m thinking only of my experience with Bell Mobility for which I am a very good and loyal customers) I think that companies put too much effort on acquiring new customers to the detriment of customers already acquired. - Being an opinion leader
- Increase sales to existing customers
- Building a community with its customers
